Wholesale price forecast of tomato for April-May, 2016

ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam, Meghalaya is running a Network Project entitled “Market Intelligence” under the Division of Social Sciences and has developed a pre-harvest wholesale price forecast of tomato for the month of April-May, 2016. The pre-harvest wholesale price of good tomato variety may be in the range of Rs. 1500/quintal - Rs.1700/quintal which may differ in different wholesale markets of Meghalaya during this period.
