International Yoga Day jointly celebrate by ICAR- Arunachal Pradesh Centre & KVK West Siang

There is a proverb “Health is wealth”. Keeping in mind, both the organizations of ICAR has celebrate International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2017 at recreation hall, ICAR-RC for NEH Region complex, Basar. On this special day, ICAR-RC for NEH Region, Arunachal Pradesh Centre, Basar observed the whole day by practicing yoga and other extra-curricular activities, which can maintain a health mentally and physically sound. The main objectives of celebration the day was to motivate the employees of ICAR-RC for NEH Region complex, Basar for maintain a healthy body by practicing yoga regularly. The programme started with speech by Dr. H. Kalita, Joint Director (I/C) on benefits of practicing yoga, followed by practicing yoga by the all employees of ICAR. The programme concluded with taking resolution and promise by all employees on practicing yoga regularly. Total 38 nos. of participants celebrate the day.
