Celebration Of Vigilance Week 2018 at ICAR, Tripura

Vigilance Awareness Week 2018 celebrated at ICAR Tripura Centre, Lembucherra today at 2 PM in office Seminar Hall with the theme “Eradicate Corruption- Build a New India”. All the employees of the Centre took pledged to fight against corruption by following probity and rule of law in all walks of life, performing all tasks in an honest and transparent manner, always work for public interest in front of the Joint Director of the Centre Dr B K Kandpal. Later in his speech, Dr Kandpal pursuit the vision of the Government of India to make a new India by the year 2022 during 75th anniversary of independence by eradicating corruption through participation of every segment of life. Corruption undermines socio- economic development, the environment, people’s health and much more, he added. It is therefore, imperative that the public must be sensitised and motivated towards efforts at weeding out the corruption. He urged all the staff to follow the pledge not only for official purpose but also for their private life and lead the masses by exhibiting integrity in personal behaviour.
