Training programme on scientific cultivation of large cardamom.
Hayuliang : A one day training programme on scientific cultivation of Large cardamom was organized by ICAR, KVK Anjaw here at Manchal in Anjaw District, which is around 26K m from Hayuliang town by crossing a hanging bridge on 25th of August 2015.0A round 68farmers (farmers, farm women and youths) attended the training programme. Tayo, i/c Programme Coordinator, KVK Anjaw gave the welcome speech and highlighting about the importance of KVK to the farming community. The resource person Ms Rebecca Eko, Subject Matter Specialist t, Horticulture explained the farmers on the importance of scientific cultivation of Large cardamom and gave a detailed power point presentation right from the preparation of the land till the post- harvest management techniques. She also showed the farmers some audio- visual clipping on the cultivation prospect for a better understanding. Vote of thanks was then given by Ex. ASM, Manchal Mr.Nehay Ngadong.
