KVK Anjaw Conducted Training Programme at Tafraliang
Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Anjaw conducted 1 day (23th October, 2015) training programme on Integrated Pest Management in Citrus. Altogether 40 farmers including rural youth and women participated in the training programme. Mr. Senpon Ngomle, Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection) welcomed the participants and gave a detail presentation on IPM of citrus. He also requested the farmers to share their crop related queries. He heard the problems faced by them in citrus and fruit crops. He emphasized upon the importance of incorporating the integrated pest management strategy and explained them various care and management practices that they should adopt in fruit crops throughout the year for the control of important pests for obtaining optimum yield.
Subject Matter Specialist Mr. S. P Singh (Social Sciences) also spoke about his respective field of specialization.
