Vanaraja birds distribution for “Doubling farmers Income” held at doubling farmers income adopted village Tafralinag and MGMG village Suplaing.
With a attempt to improve the farmers income by 2022 target set by Honorable PM Narendra Modi. KVK Anjaw have distributed 300 numbers of vanaraja chicks at Tafralinag village and 200 chicks at suplinag village to selected farmers those who were interested in rearing poultry in commercial dimension on 13/02/2018. Initially after imparting training on poultry production, 10 chick were distributed to villagers and asked them to rear as screening test to know the farmers who are really interested towards poultry farming. Out of 40 farmers, 10 farmers have came forward and asked for inputs assistance in the form of chicks, feeds and other equipments, taking into the interest of farmers a compromise has made between KVK official and interested farmers that KVK Anjaw will supply chicks and vaccine free of cost. but rest of other inputs should be managed at own level.
