One day Swachhta Campaign collaboration with National Service Scheme at Tafraliang “Doubling Farmers Income Village”
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Anjaw in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary school, Hayuliang Organize one-day Swachhta Campaign at Tafraliang (adopted village for doubling farmers income). The programme begins with social service by NSS volunteer, students, teachers from GHS School Hayuliang, KVK Staffs and local villagers. Various sports and cultural events were held as part of the NSS camp. The chief guest of the programme was Kego Jilen, ADC, Hayuliang. In his speech, he appreciated effort for NSS in cleaning the village surrounding and ask the students to maintain the same at the school and at home. He also ask the villagers to go for Swachhta approach for making the village clean and pollution free. Khoisnam Naveen SMS, Agronomy also spoke on the occasion. He said that proper clean and healthy environment is a much for maintaining good health and free from diseases. He advocated to continue maintenance of cleanliness in the coming days for proper health and disease free surrounding. Teachers from GHS School also spoke on the occasion. Later, prize were distributed to the winners of the different sports and cultural events.
