First Step of Survey Work Completed by ICAR and KVK West Siang
Basar 28th Aug.,2014 : A team comprising of Shri A. Kirankumar Singh, i/c Programme Coordinator, KVK West Siang, Dr. Rajesh Alone, Scientist (Agroforestry) Shri Jitendra Kumar (Soil Physics), Shri Tinkonjit Taye, Senior Research Fellow (TDC-NICRA) and Shri Jumkar Bam, Technician (T-1) conducted a day long discussion and survey work for the expansion of TDC-NICRA project under the KVK West Siang, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, A. P. Centre, Basar on 27th Aug.,2014 at Zirdo Village under Daring circle. The survey and discussion was attended by 39 participants including Shri Bini Zirdo, Anchal Chairperson. During the discussion, the team members interacted with the farmers with great interest and enthusiasm to collect the genuine information regarding the problems and prospects of the farming in the area. They also have responded accordingly and supported the team to render the correct information. The team suggested them to take up the most profitable and demanding crops in their field by the consumers. Lastly, Shri A. Kirankumar Singh expressed eagerness to help them with technical guidance and critical inputs as per the feasibility from the KVK side.
