Field Day on Sali Paddy
A Field day on Black gram (var- Tripura Maskalai) was organized at Horipur village of Selsella block on 30th Dec, 2015 by KVK, ICAR, Tura. The programme was organized popularize the improved variety of Black gram (var- Tripura Maskalai) among the farmers of the area. 57nos. of farmers of Horipur and adjacent villages participated in the programme. The feedback of the farmers is that they are satisfied by seeing the plant height, nos. of pod formation/ plant, pod size and its overall performance. They are expecting a very good yield from the variety as compare with locally available variety.
