Training programme on Livelihood improvement of Tribal framers through Scientific production technology at Rilu village of Arunachal Pradesh.
One day training programme on Livelihood improvement of Tribal framers through scientific production technology was conducted by ICAR A.P centre Basar under TSP on 14th of July 2017 at Rilu village under Daring circle of West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. Around 40 farmers attended the programme. Joint Director In charge Dr. Doni Jini, highlighted the activities of ICAR and in particular TSP programme. Sh. T. Angami Scientist, (Horticulture), delivered lectures on scientific ginger and orange production, Dr. R.A Alone, Scientist (Agro forestry) on Jalkund technology, Dr. A Chandra, Scientist (Agri. Entomology) gave lectures on vemicomposting and management of insect and pest in crops and vegetables. Livestock production particularly pig and poultry production was delivered by Dr. Doni Jini, Scientist (Vety extension education. After lecture and feedback session farmers were distributed, knapsacks sprayer, vegetable sprayer, dibbler, multipurpose U blade weeder, Maize Sheller, organic insecticides, green gram. The farmers appreciated the efforts of the team of ICAR AP Basar and seek for active participation and cooperation for such type of programme.
