Two days training cum demonstration programme on “Production, Post Harvest Management and Value Addition of Citrus Fruit” organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Chandel and sponsored by Central Institute of Horticulture, Nagaland concluded today. Dr. Y. Prabhabati Devi, Course Coordinator gave key note address and conducted demonstration on Processing of Orange, Lime and Amla. Dr. Ch. Premabati Devi, Scientist (Horticulture) delivered lecture on the topic “Production Technology of Citrus Fruits” and Dr. Arati Ningombam, Scientist (Entomology) delivered lecture on the topic “Insect Pest Management in Citrus”. The programme concluded with vote of thanks from Dr. A. Ameeta Devi, Head, KVK Chandel. The programme was attended by 26 farmers and staff of KVK Chandel.
