Training cum method Demonstration on Oyster Mushroom Production Technology
KVK, Anjaw organized training cum method demonstration on Oyster Mushroom Production technology at Metengliang on 13th November 2016. More than 30 farm women and rural youth attended the programme.
Mr. Senpon Ngomle, Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection) was the coordinator of the training programme. He delivered his lecture in details about oyster mushroom production and acquainted the participants about various aspect of mushroom cultivation. Specially farm women appreciated the training programme and showed a keen interest in cultivation of mushroom and decided to take up mushroom cultivation in commercial scale.
The training was followed by method demonstration right from straw cutting to spawning to make the participants more clear about the different steps involved in oyster mushroom production.
