KVK West Siang Conducted Farmers Training under Plant Protection
KVK West Siang conducted one day training Programme on Insect Pests and Diseases Management in Citrus on 14th July, 2016 at Nyodu Village. Dr. Kangabam Suraj Singh SMS-Plant Protection briefly explained the plant protection measures against the diseases and insect pests in Citrus. Fifty five numbers of rural youth, farm women and men including Mr. Jummar Nyodu (Head Gaon Burah) participated in training programme. Hemme Nyodu (Gaon Burah), Tutem Nyodu (Ex-Gram Chairperson) of Nyodu Village, Dr. Rita Nongthombam (SMS-PB), and Mr. Jumkar Bam (T-I) assisted in this training programme. All farmers were appreciated this training programme due to high incidence of diseases and pests in their citrus orchards.
Lastly programme was ended successfully with a vote of thanks to the villagers and KVK West Siang team by Smt. Lipu Nyodu, Gram Chairperson Nyodu village.
