Awareness cum diagnostic visit conducted under NMSHE TF-6 at Lipu Namchi village.
One day awareness programme on climate resilient technologies for optimum agriculture production was conducted on 26th of October 2016 under NMSHE by ICAR A.P Centre Basar and KVK, West Siang at Lipu namchi village of Basar circle. Team of scientist comprising Dr. Doni Jini, Scientist (Veterinary Ext), Dr.Anup Chandra,(Entomology),Dr. RajeshA. Alone, (Agroforestry), Sh.Badapmein, (Agronomy),Sh. L. Thoutang,(Plant Breeding),Sh.T.Angami, (Horti)and Smt. DeepaLal, SMS (horticulture) delivered lectures on various management practices.After the session diagnostic visit was conducted at farmers’ field, during the visit they requested for supply of vegetable seeds and other planting materials in the month of February for sowing in their jhum fields and fencing materials.
The farmers appreciated the effort made by team of ICAR A.P centre Basar and KVK, West Siang and sought for their active cooperation.
