NICRA Activities Monitored By KVKand ICAR Scientists at Basar 20th November, 2014.

A team comprised of Shri A. Kirankumar Singh, i/c Programme Coordinator, KVK West Siang, Shri Letngam Touthang, Scientist (Plant Breeding) and Shri Badapmain Makdoh, Scientist (Agronomy) of ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, A. P. Centre, Basar visited the villages and monitored different activities carried out under TDC, NICRA project. The team strictly observed and expressed their satisfaction with the performance of Smt Gumjum Riba’s rice field, Shri Karchi Dirchi’s Tomato under Polyhouse and Shri Marli Chisi’s Ash Gourd. The team also visited different farmers’ field and interacted with the farmers in the field itself. The team suggested the other farmers to follow the technologies transferred and followed by the fellow farmers in the village who are getting better income from different activities under the project. The farmers were encouraged by the team with the distribution of seeds of different winter crops.
