Training cum distribution of Kroiler chicks for livelihood improvement of tribal farmers was held on 13th November 2017 by KVK, Anjaw. Dr. Tilling Tayo SMS Animal Science KVK Anjaw, after delivering brief lecture note on brooding management, feeding and health care aspect, distributed 270 numbers of chicks, along with concentrate feeds for initial 15 days. Thereafter slowly replace the concentrate feeds with locally available feeds. He urge mainly to rural youths to take forefoot in transforming rural animal and poultry husbandry practices in new dimension by inculcating, following regular vaccination schedule of poultry to mitigate the poultry lost by disease outbreak mainly cause by Ranikhet and IBD. Altogether 47 farmers attended the programme.
