AKVK Longding organized the “Vigilance Awareness Week, 2019”

The KVK Longding organized the “Vigilance Awareness Week,2019” at Government Higher Secondary School, Kanubari today the 1st Nov.,2019. At the outset, Dr Tilling Tayo welcomed all the participating 155 students and teachers and highlighted the agenda of the programme. Dr A. Kirankumar Singh, i/c Senior Scientist & Head, KVK Longding highlighted in detail about the objectives of organizing the programme emphasizing the students to be well aware about it and work sincerely, transparently and punctually to serve the nation. Further, Shri N. Rina, Principal of the Govt. Higher Secondary School, Kanubari also highlighted the importance of the program. After that the gathering have taken a pledge : to follow probity and rule of law in all walks of life, to neither take nor offer bribe; to perform all tasks in an honest and transparent manner; to act in public interest; to lead by example exhibiting integrity in personal behavior; to report any incident of corruption to the appropriate agency. In this occasion, the KVK organized an Essay Competition on the theme “Integrity-A Way of Life” participated by 27 students of Class-X, XI and XII. The participating students were encouraged and motivated by the KVK and the certificates and prizes will also be distributed after evaluating their essays.
