Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Anjaw organized training on oyster mushroom cultivation
KVK, Anjaw organized 1-day (14th September 2016) training programme on Oyster Mushroom Production technology at Metengliang. More than 50 farm women and rural youth attended the training programme. Rebecca Eko, SMS Horticulture welcomed the participants and briefed the gathering about the importance of organizing this training.
Mr. Senpon Ngomle, Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection) was the coordinator of the training programme. He acquainted the participants about various aspect of mushroom cultivation and was given training for the cultivation of oyster mushroom and urges the participants to start cultivating mushroom on a commercial scale. Specially farm women appreciated the training programme and showed a keen interest in the cultivation of mushroom and decided to take up mushroom cultivation during the coming season.
Dr.Tiling Tayo, SMS, veterinary also spoke about his respective field of specialization.
