Kisan Kalyan Karyasala Observed at Longding District
KISAN KALYAN KARYASALA (Farmers’ Welfare Workshop) observed on 2nd May 2018 at Longding and Kanubari block of Longding district by Department of Agriculture, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh .The event mainly emphasized on ‘Doubling of Farmers Income by 2022’. The programme was attended by Panchayat leaders, HOD of different line departments and Farmers. The programme starts with welcome address by respective agriculture officers of Longding and Kanubari block.
In technical session, representatives from Agri and Allied departments highlighted various schemes and projects of their respective departments. KVK officials Mr. Gerik Bagra, Sr. Scientist and Head (i/c) and Dr. S.Ngomle, SMS, Plant Protection spoke on their respective field of expertise.
After the technical session, two-way communication between resource person and farmers was conducted to discuss ways to increase their income through adoption of new technology and also to solve their queries.
