KIRAN Newsletter Launched
The KIRAN portal turned seven years old on the 16th of July. To mark the 7th Anniversary a newsletter was launched under the aegis of Dr N. Prakash, Director, ICAR RC for NEH Region, Umiam at the Committee Room of the institute on the 1st of August during the joint director’s meet. The journey of KIRAN began on the 16th of July 2012, with the motive to take agricultural technologies at the tip of a farmer’s hand. The newsletter was launched to keep up to the mandate of KIRAN with a motive to bring a change in the society with the use of technology. The apt use of technology can be seen in the knowledge repository. To keep pace with the changing times and to improvise the use of technologies, innovations are adapted in the system of KIRAN to provide better and fruitful results. The newsletter is an effort from KIRAN towards the direction to achieve its goal.
