Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan Diwas observed by KVK Anjaw
KVK Anjaw observed Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan Diwas, on 24th Dec. 2015,the birth day of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayeeat Metengliang. The programme was organize with the main motive of disseminating the importance of agriculture and allied sciences. The session was inaugurated with welcome address by Dr Manish Kanwat (Senior Scientist cum Head). He expressed that to develop a nation, agriculture is of prime importance and it starts from village level so he suggested to increase the area under crops and increase the production.C. Tindya, Anchal Samiti Chairperson (Metengliang) Anjaw grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Jamkhilo Marow (Gram Chairperson, Metengliang),Khokhi Chiba Head Master Govt. Middle School Metengliang along with 45 farmers, farm women and school children also attended the programme. During the programme the KVK Scientist spoke on their respective subjects and highlighted the importance of science in the field of agriculture.
The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Khokhi Chiba, Head master Govt. Middle School Metengliang. He urged the farmers to follow scientific cultivation of crops and its managementto increase the production.
