Field day on “Promoting rabi Tomato cultivation technologies in raised beds to increase the cropping intensity in Mizoram” (Under Tribal Sub Plan)
A field day on promoting rabi tomato cultivation in raised beds was organized to increase the cropping intensity in Mizoram” (Under Tribal Sub Plan) on 9th October 2015 at Phaipheng Village, Bilkhawthlir (Mizoram). 60 farmers were attended this training programme. Field demonstration on nursery preparation, lime application in main field, fertilizer management and seedling treatment with tetracycline were demonstrated by learning and doing process. Tomato seedlings were distributed among the farmers who attended the programme.
