KVK West Siang Conducted Farmers Training Programme at Echi Chiku
KVK West Siang conducted one day training Programme on Identification and Management of Diseases and Insect Pests in paddy on 24th May, 2016 at Echi Chiku Village. Dr. Kangabam Suraj Singh SMS-Plant Protection briefly explained through power point presentation in integrated diseases and insect pests in paddy. He explained various methods of diseases and pests management through cultural, mechanical, biological and chemical. He also highlighted eco-friendly and judicious use of pesticide which is almost necessary in order to healthy farming system. In this training programme total 55 numbers of rural youths, farm women and men were participated. The farmers were enthusiastically participated in this training programme and concluded successfully.
