KVK-West Siang diagnosed diseases in farmers’ field of Basar Circle

One day diagnostic field visit was conducted by Krishi Vigyan Kendra-West Siang experts’ on 19th January, 2016. A team of specialists from different subjects visited the vegetables field of Mr. Doi Riba of Regi village. The expert of plant protection identified some severe disease attack in potato i.e. early blight, leaf spot and scab. Soil expert detected micro-nutrient deficiency symptom in cauliflower. The KVK experts have suggested appropriate measures i.e. fungicide application and crop rotation to control the potato diseases and boron application in cauliflower to prevent and recover the deficiency.
