Training Workshop on Agricultural Communication Organised

Zonal Project Directorate, Zone II, Kolkata, organized a three day Workshop on “Writing Success Stories”.
In his inaugural address Dr A. K. Singh, Zonal Project Director, stressed upon the need of better visibility of KVKs through success stories and other activities on various media platforms. He urged participants to be more active in communication of their achievements and activities.
Faculty includes communication experts from Directorate of Knowledge Management in Agriculture, New Delhi; MANAGE Hyderabad, Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore and other media organizations.
Interactive sessions are being conducted on art and craft of writing success stories, news, press releases for print and electronic media. Project Coordinators and Subject Matter Specialists of 18 KVKs of ZPD, Zone II are participating in the workshop.
Dr H. K. De, Principal Scientist is the Course Director of the Workshop.
