Livestock- fishery awareness cum health camp at Siro and Hari village of Ziro,
Lower Subansiri districtof Arunachal Pradesh
Livestock cum fishery awareness camp was conducted at Ziro, Lower Subansiri district of Aruanchal Pradesh on 24th of March 2016.The programme was organized by ICAR A.P Centre Basar funded under TSP. Coordinator of the programme was led by Dr. Doni Jini Scientist (Vety extension education), Mr.Rahul Das, Scientist (Aquaculture) of ICAR A.P centre Basar and Miss Tilling Yam member of Hong farmers club. The scientist delivered lecture on diseases of livestock and fisheryand management measures for prevention and control. Sick animals were treated and farmer’s door to door visit was conducted similarly water quality of fish pond and paddy field were examined and suggested remedial measures to the fish growers. Around 55 farmers from Siro and Hari village were distributed free medicines, feed supplement like vitamins, mineral mixture etc of livestock and poultry.
The farmers of Siro and Hari villages highly appreciated the effort made by ICAR A.P centre Basar and promise for their active cooperation in such programme in coming future.
