Swachhta Pakhwada conducted in Amaliang, Anjaw district.
On 18th of October, 2016 the Krishi Vigyan Kendra Anjaw in collaboration with Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya,Amaliang celebrated Swachhta Pakhwada School premises, Amaliang.More than 40 participants including students and teachers were actively participated in this nation wide clean drive. KVK staff along with all the students and teachers cleaned the school campus by collecting the waste materials and disposed it.
During the occasion KVK staff highlighted the importance of organizing this programme and explained them various ways of waste disposal, health hazards caused and also acquainted them the benefits of clean and green environment.
After the completion of social service, KVK Anjaw was also organised Extempore of speech event on “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”and the interested students were actively participated on the said event. As an encouragement, the KVK Anjaw distributed the certificates and prize to the winners of the Extempore.
