Training on ‘Scientific cultivation of Kiwi fruit’ held at Kaho

The last village of Anjaw district “Kaho” near China border has a huge potential in horticultural field. Different fruit crops such as apple, peach, plum, kiwi, walnut, etc. are grown but are not cultivated commercially. Hence keeping in mind the above reasons & as per the need based demand of the farmers, ICAR, KVK Anjaw organized a one day long training programme on ‘Scientific cultivation of Kiwi fruit’ on 18th January 2018. Altogether 30 farmers (both men and women) attended the training programme. Dr. Senpon Ngomle, SMS Plant Pathology welcomed the participants and briefed the gathering about the importance of organizing this training and also highlighted the role of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Agri. and allied field.
