Two days training programme on oyster mushroom cultivation concluded
A two day’s training on oyster mushroom cultivation was successfully organized by ICAR Research complex for NEH Region, Arunachal Pradesh Centre, Basar under Tribal Sub-plan (TSP) w.e.f. 10th -11th Feb.’15. Altogether, 28 trainees from different parts of West Siang district participated.
At the outset, Raghuveer Singh, Scientist (Plant Pathology), delivered a lecture on "Oyster mushroom cultivation" and its importance, details of cultivation practices. At the same time they acquainted with the different equipments and machineries available in the mushroom spawn production laboratory. Trainees were trained practically on oyster mushroom cultivation. This programme was technically assisted by Sikimoni Baruah, B. Pait and Rabindro Singh.
Trainees were very happy and satisfied with the training programme at the end of the programme, mushroom spawns and poly bags distributed.
