One day Animal health camp conducted at logum Jini of West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh

 

One day  Animal Health camp was been conducted by ICAR, AP Basar at Logum Jini village under Aalo circle of West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh on the 28th of March 2018 ,where a total of 29 farmers attended the animal health camp. On the day of training a lecture was delivered on the most prevalent diseases in swine such as Swine Fever, FMD and Ranikhet disease in poultry as well as on some emerging Zoonotic disease such as Neurocysticercosis the farmers were suggested on the management aspect of swine rearing under Deep Litter Housing System by Dr. Doni Jini and Dr. Tage Rina, SRF (NICRA) on management of FMD in Mithun during pre and post monsoon periods. After the lecture distribution of basic Veterinary medicines, vitamins and mineral supplements was done thereafter, The farmers were been instructed to bring the day old chicks for RD vaccination on the next morning. Around 300 birds 3-5 days old were vaccinated with F1 vaccine. The training ended with positive feedbacks from the farmers to conduct such more training in the future.
