3 Days  Training Programme on “Potential Technologies options towards Sustainable Food Production in NE Indian state of Mizoram” Under NMSHE at Phaipheng, Bilkhawthlir from 29.03.2016 To 31.03.2016

 

ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region Mizoram Centre organized three training programme on “Potential technologies options towards sustainable food production in NE Indian state of Mizoram” Under National Mission Sustainable Hill Ecosystem (NMSHE) at Phaipheng, Bilkhawthlir from 29.03.2016 To 31.03.2016. Dr. S. B. Singh, Joint Director, ICAR Mizoram Centre, Dr. Saurav Saha, Scientist (Nodal Officer and Co-PI, NMSHE), Dr. Sudip. Kumar. Dutta, Scientist (Horticulture), Dr. A.R. kumar Singh Scientist (Plant Pathology), Dr. Lungmuana, Scientist (Soil Science), Dr. M. Thoithoi Devi Scientist (Agronomy), Dr. Vishambhar Dayal Scientist (Horticulture) and Mr. Samik Chowdhury, Technical Officer (GKMS) ICAR Mizoram Centre and Village Council Pradhan (VCP) of Bilkhawthlir west also attended the inaugural programme session of the training programme. All total 60 famers were attended this training programme. Welcome speech has delivered by Dr. Saurav Saha, Course Director of the pragramme then Joint Director has delivered importance of different climate resilient technologies in hill region and VCP has addressed different problems in the area and importance of agricultural crop in their life. Vote of Thanks has delivered by Dr. Lungmuana. Concern scientist gave subjective lectures and associated technology demonstration in the farmers’ field at Phaipheng, Bilkhawthlir. 28 nos of soil heath card has been distributed in this programme.
