Thirty (30) numbers of Piglets distributed under the theme “Nutritional security and Livelihood of Tribal Farmers through Improved Piggery” under Tribal Sub Plan.

 

KVK Anjaw have distributed thirty (30) numbers of Yorkshire piglets of 80 days old to ten (10) farmers on 6th May 2016. Each farmers were given three (03) piglets, 2 female and 1 male for establishing breeding unit, to propagate improved breed of piglets at village level. To address the problem of sources of improved breeds of piglets at rural area. The beneficiaries were thoroughly thought regarding feeding, breeding and disease management along with distribution of package of medicine, vitamin and mineral supplements.
